Why you should hire me
I love building things end to end. Each one here began with a real problem, and I took it all the way to production.

I’m Shivateja
Most people call me Shiva
I’m a backend engineer from Hyderabad. I like owning the whole thing: the idea, the backend, the frontend, the deploy, and whatever breaks once real people start using it.
In my final year of college, I interned at Intellipaat, a Bangalore startup, as a Cloud Analyst on their Azure infrastructure. I automated their cloud labs and cut compute spend by 60%. In 2023 I was selected for Amazon’s ML Summer School, and I graduated in Computer Science in 2025.
Every project started with a real reason

TriggerX
LiveTrading is mostly waiting for a price, and I used to wait by staring at charts for hours. TradingView’s free plan gave me three alerts. So I built TriggerX: 50 alerts each, fired the moment the price hits, straight to Telegram or email. Set one from the Chrome extension without leaving your chart, or just text the bot, “tell me when BTC drops 5%”.

Shrinkr
LiveAfter learning Spring Boot, I wanted to build something meaningful. The URL shortener shows up in every system design discussion because it touches everything: caching, rate limiting, database design. So I built one and shipped it. It’s live, and it redirects in about 3ms.

buzzcut
Live · npmI kept seeing senior engineers, people with years behind them, complaining about AI-written pull requests. Coding with AI is inevitable; nobody is going back to working without it. But a pull request should still explain itself, so the reviewer doesn’t need another AI to understand it. That’s why I built buzzcut.

Building · 46%In college, learning one data structure meant ten open tabs: YouTube, LeetCode, a blog, GeeksforGeeks. I want one place where you can learn 95% of it. It’s 46% built, and growing every week.

One for my parents
PrivateMy parents weren’t exactly serious about working out every day, so in my free time I built a workout tracker for my two favourite clients. Dad opens it and it shows exactly what today needs: one exercise per screen, big buttons, no login. It works offline, runs on Cloudflare and costs nothing.
How I use AI
It helps me ship fast I make sure it ships right
I use AI the way a founder uses a good team. It researches, drafts and double-checks. I make the decisions, and nothing ships until I’ve verified it myself.
- 01 · Research
Start from the right approach
Before I build, I study how it’s done properly, instead of wading through hundreds of pages. Less rework later.
- 02 · Draft
Speed where it’s cheap
AI drafts and types. The architecture, the trade-offs and what not to build stay my call.
- 03 · Cross-check
A second opinion, every time
For anything that matters, I compare answers across different models and dig in where they disagree.
- 04 · Verify
Fast, never careless
I read it, test it and run it myself before it ships, so speed never turns into cleanup.

When I’m off the clock
I analyse crypto markets. When I run into a random problem, I write down how I’d solve it. Some of those I build, most I don’t, but it keeps me thinking in solutions.
I train at the gym, play badminton whenever I can, and the rest of my time goes to my family and friends.
What I live by
I know of no better life purpose than to perish in attempting the great and the impossible
Every project here, I built alone The next one, I want to build with a pack
I want to be where big things get built, and give it my best. I think that’s your team
